THIS IS A FULL-FEATURED SHAREWARE VERSION
This game contains everything available in the ﾔRegisteredﾕ version. However, this shareware version will EVENTUALLY expire, and you will not be able to play it anymore.
The registered version WILL NOT expire. It does not contain the Register menu, and the registration notice at the end of each session will not appear. Please register the game if you like it.
* The previous version, Black Jack Deluxe 1.3.1, had a built in design flaw. The object of the ﾔNew Tableﾕ feature is to simulate leaving a ﾒbadﾓ table at the casino by taking your winnings or losings to a different table. You get a new shoe and a new dealer, based on the latest preference settings. BUT, you could get the high score by always doing the following :
1) Bet $1000
2) Hit the DEAL button
3) If you didn't get a Black Jack, select ﾔNew Table.ﾕ Your wager of $1000 is neither won nor lost, and you get an infinte amount of ﾔfree shotsﾕ at a Black Jack possibility. Your winnings would accumulate to MAXLONGINT (2 ^ 32), $1500 at a time.
Version 1.3.2 corrects this flaw by requiring you to finish your current hand (thereby either winning or losing the current wager) before hopping tables.
* The previous version, Black Jack Deluxe 1.3, introduced features to allow the player to change the counting system and the ﾔbest playﾕ tables (see below.) It would take several hours to determine if these changes were for the better. The new AUTO PLAY item under the FILE menu alleviates the mundane task of verifying these changes. In this mode, the computer will keep the count and perform the ﾔbest playﾕ while betting conservatively. The computer plays very fast, making only decisions found in the table. After a while, the net effect of the change will be apparent. This feature is very entertaining for all levels of players.
･ ﾔPreference Bugﾕ Corrected

* Those who ran version 1.3 without throwing away the Preference file from version 1.2.2 or earlier could not take advantage of the new features at once. The first time preferences were changed and saved, the new features became active, transparent to the user. This bug has been resolved.
･ ﾔRegisterﾕ menu is back

* In version 1.2, this item allowed the user to print out a shareware registration form easily. This feature has now returned.
* Professional card counters can enter their own card counting system. The default system is easy to learn, but more accurate systems exist. Those who make many $$$ per visit at the casino can enter their own system and test it out before hand. Or, just ﾔmess aroundﾕ if youﾕre like me and need practice.
* Players can modify the ﾔbest playﾕ table to meet their own needs.
Not everybody plays the same way. The system presented here assumes you might want to take different actions based on the card count.
Ex : You have 16 versus the dealerﾕs ten. Should you hit or stay?
The default table says STAY if the count is positive, HIT otherwise. You might want to ALWAYS stay or ALWAYS hit, and just change your bet as the count changes. So, edit the table, and youﾕre set!
THE COACH MODE AND HINTS MODE WILL SUPPORT ALL OF YOUR TABLE MODIFICATIONS. THESE MODIFICATIONS CAN BE SAVED TO YOUR PREFERENCE FILE.

When you are losing money at the casino, it is advisable to change tables. This options takes your winnings (or losses) to the next table. Unlike New Game, you donﾕt start out fresh.
* Theory, under COUNTING menu.
This window (as several have noted!) contained a lot of text and was hard to read. If has been enhanced to please the eye.
* Practice, under COUNTING menu.
This item gives a basic outline to follow. For example, this program is great, but how can I use it to get better? Read this window!
* Minus-Plus, under COUNTING menu.
The window will now display what values are used in the current counting system.
